ELECTRONICS AND ELECTRICAL SECTION VISION
As an integral part of the Engineering Department and in line with the Higher College of Technology Vision, The Electronics and Electrical Section aims to become the first choice for Technical and Engineering students and for the industries as well. It aims to present achievable academic standards and quality learning opportunities in the fields of Computer, Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, and Biomedical Engineering that will meet, and exceed, the labor market requirements. It envisions turning out professional students, skilled in their respective levels and able to overcome all challenges encountered in their life after College.
ELECTRONICS AND ELECTRICAL SECTION MISSION
The Electronics and Electrical Section, as part of a College pioneering in Technical Education in Oman, is committed to providing opportunities for all students to become active life-long learners with the necessary competencies, skills, understanding, and good values, able to contribute and succeed in a rapidly changing world. It aims to do this by enhancing learning and teaching capabilities through its highly qualified faculty and staff, constantly striving for best performance and ensuring a good working environment conducive to education.
More specifically, the mission of the section is to:
1. Provide a high-quality internationally recognized college program which will produce semi-skilled graduates (from the Certificate level), technicians (from the Diploma level), technologists (from the Higher Diploma level) and professionals (from the Bachelors level) in any of the three broad areas of specializations: Power, Telecommunication and Computer Engineering.
2. Provide a learning environment that enables each student to attain the highest level of professional and personal development.
3. Develop the section as a community of learners where faculty and staff will have the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and capabilities.
4. The Electronics and Electrical Section as the producer and provider of highly qualified and employable graduates to the labor market.
