Data Display System is intended to act as an effective message and information tool which is available at Higher College of Technology.
All the activities, functions, events and announcements which will be running in the college will be advertised using the system. 19’ inch Display Screens are placed beside each class room in English Language Center, Engineering Department and the New Building. The Timetables for each classroom are displayed, and some other departmental news. 40’ inch Display Screens are placed in each of the three buildings.
Informational, educational, inspirational messages, live news from CNN, BBC and Al Jazeera, advertisements which will bring beneficial information to staff , students and HCT visitors and any other special purpose events will be displayed.
The system is also capable of receiving satellite channels. In which it will bring to HCT the advantage of educating students as well as staff through broadcasting many of the news, educational and documentary channels such as BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera, Discovery and many others.
