It is our pleasure to welcome you to our Higher College of Technology Computer Services Section (CSS). The CSS plays a leading role in providing IT support and technical services for HCT departments, academic, services and administration for both staff and students. The Computer Services Section (CSS), under the Educational Technology Center (ETC), functions as the sole source of computing activities provided for all users in the college. CSS makes certain that up-to-date and right services are provided to all end users and ensures the security, confidentiality and integrity of the information held therein. It also guarantees that information is created, used and maintained in secured environment and ensures that all HCT owned IT assets have an identified administrator.

It is a pleasure and honor to welcome you to the Educational Service Section (ESS), which is as a part of the Educational Technology Center. This section strives towards giving educational support in teaching and learning processes, using the latest state-of-the-art technologies. It also aims at providing a dynamic and flexible atmosphere of learning and teaching across the college. Our goal is to provide quality educational support to every student and teacher of the college.

It is our pleasure to welcome you to our HCT Library. The Library is well equipped which provides Lending and Reference services to all the students and faculty members. The Library has a collection of 9204 volumes and 3775 titles of books and references in the different fields. Electronic information plays a vital role in Engineering Education, on lines with the Library has e-brary subscriptions for the benefit of users. In addition to that, the Library provides Internet services in which laptops connected through the wireless are available for students. Also, Cubicle facilities for serious minded readers, Discussion Room facilities, Excellent Reading Hall facilities etc., are available in the Library. Effective book arrangements are made according to Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) scheme with color codification. We invite you to use our learning resources and become a good Oman Citizen. We are encouraging your suggestions and ideas for the Library.
