Business Studies Department organized and hosted an event Train the Trainer on 25th February 2019 between 10.00 AM to1.00 PM at Multipurpose Hall. Other colleges of technology representatives have attended the session. Four Faculty members from each College of Technology represented their department. They shall provide the similar session to the other faculty members at their department level.
Dr. Bassam Khalil and Dr. Yousuf Al Mabsali introduced the Trainer and started the session by sharing the objectives as how the program aims to help the educators increase their competence in teaching and best practices in terms of delivering effective tuition/ lecture.
TTT session and training session was conducted by Ms. Fazeela Gopalani, Head of Education – ACCA Middle East sharing her expertise with Teaching for success – key tutor skills, Introduction to learning methodologies, Teaching and presentation skills, preparing to teach at Learning and revision phase and exam focused teaching followed by Q&A session.
The objectives of the program were successfully achieved and it ended with a positive feedback from all the Colleges of Technology.
The event concluded with the presentation of plaques of appreciation to Ms. Fazeela Gopalani, Head of Education – ACCA, Middle East, and Mr. Rashid Ahmed, Business Relationship Executive – ACCA, Oman. The plaques and certificates of appreciation were presented by Dr. Bassam Khalil Hamdan, HoD of Business Studies Department
