The Applied Sciences Department’s Risk, Health and Safety (RHS) committee recently conducted a two (2) day workshop on Risk Assessment last 18-19 April 2018 in M204 of the APS-PH building. The event was done to also update the current risk register for laboratories of the department.
This activity sets the tone for a series of comprehensive risk assessment activities to be implemented in other committees of the department. The main aim of risk assessment is to come up with a comprehensive list of hazards and risks that will be eventually listed and compiled in the risk register of the department and the College Risk, Health and Safety (RHS) committee register.
The workshop was organized by the APS-RHS committee and conducted by Mr. Mike Medina, its current committee coordinator.
