The Applied Sciences Department’s risk, health and safety (RHS) committee conducted a toolbox talk for its technical staff last 10 January 2019. Toolbox talks are designed to ensure that staff are participating and implementing safety activities, and at the same time have an opportunity to engage and discuss RHS-related issues in the laboratories in particular and the department in general.
Toolbox talks is one medium and one of the programs by the HSE committee in the Applied Sciences department that increases RHS awareness and get staff motivated, and actively involved.
The activity was organized through the college RHS committee and facilitated by Mr. Mike Medina, College RHS Officer and APS-RHS Coordinator.
