Signing a Cooperation Program between The University of Technology and Applied Sciences (Higher College of Technology) and Huawei Co.

The University of Technology and Applied Sciences- represented by the Higher College of Technology- signed a cooperation agreement with Huawei Technical Investments Company, with the aim of working together to develop a cooperative working relationship between the two parties and support the Huawei Academy in the college by providing modern technologies on areas of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The agreement also includes advanced training programs for the academic and technical staff and students, in order for the college to benefit from training programs in support of information and communication technology for the community and graduates of the Higher College of Technology through the Huawei Accredited Information and Networking Program (HAINA). This agreement shall contribute to refining the skills of university students and developing their capabilities in various fields of information technology, which in turn will enhance the march of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Ali Saif Al Harthy, Dean of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Muscat, and Robin Chen, CEO of Huawei Tech Investments in Oman, at the college’s headquarters at Al Khuwair.
