Ms. Al-Khansa Khalid Al-Hashmi (Lecturer - Pharmacy Department) was part of “African Relief Committee” and participated in the relief work conducted in Somaliland (disputed territory of Somalia). The team consists of Ms. Al-Khansa (Omani) and 9 others of Kuwaiti and Qatari nationality. The relief work was carried out from 15^th to 22^nd April 2017. The team visited approximately 10 villages (5000 families) that were highly affected by the civil war. The relief work carried out in Somaliland was food & water distributions, drilling of wells, serving orphan centers and saving domesticated animals.
