The activity was the Students’ Quiz Competition “Accounting Quiz Bee” was organized by the Accounting Section, Business Studies Department. It had a participation of 60 students from the Accounting Specialization in Bachelor level.  It was conducted in two rounds; first, on the 4th February and 11th February 2014, respectively. It was held in the Business Studies Class Room N334 at 12:00 Noon to 2.00 P.M; whereby the Accounting staff members witnessed the event. The first round was the Preliminary round where students were given a written quiz of 50 Multiple Choice Questions; and the Final round was among the 5 teams which were shortlisted from the highest scorer on the basis of a written quiz. 

Team 1 participants were Naseera Al Abdali , Mohammed Zaher Al Shaqsi  and Al Shaima Al Bawadi .
Team 2 participants were Khalid Al Wahibi Amani Al Kamyani and Dala Al Balushi.  
Team 3 participants Raya Al Hinai, Badriya AL Qaidhi and Horiya Al Khawtari
Team 4 participants were Aida Al Naabi, Abeer Al Mahrouqi and Fakriya Al Ghawi
Team 5 participants were Ahmed Salim Al omairi and Abdul Aziz Al Hosni

At the end of the quiz, the panel of Judges which was composed of Senior Accounting lecturers declared Team 2 as the winner which garnered the highest scores from am9ong the groups.

The event was initiated by the section with an aim to enhance the underpinning knowledge in accounting and it was positively accomplished.
