OJT Business Studies organized a power session for graduating students of Business studies by KIMJI TRAINING INSTITUTE (KTI) Executive Learning Centre. An activity based workshop was conducted which was specially designed for the graduating students to equip them with the skills which are important for an entry into the corporate world and are essential for a successful career. A team of five members from KTI Executive Learning Centre; Mr Nadeem Ahmed, Mr Nitin Chawla, Mr Jacob Chandy, Mr Said Abdullazizi and Ms Zainab Ali Abdulatif Al Raisi conducted the workshop. After conducting a very interesting ice breaking session Mr Nadeem Ahmed gave a presentation on skills and values required to succeed in life. He along with his team conducted two management games for the students. Two group activities, the Paper tower activity and the Balancing 14 nails on one nail experiment were conducted for the students. The objective of the activities was to make students understand the importance of to enforce the importance of critical thinking, teamwork, strategic balancing. Mr Nadeem showed two inspirational videos to the students to make them understand the importance of courage, confidence and self-assurance. Mr Nitin Chawla took a session on creating an effective CV . He conducted an activity to explain the points to be enhanced while creating a CV. In another interactive session Mr Jacob Chandy gave the guidelines to attend a job interview. A demo of the mock interview session was conducted for few students in front of the group. The last session was conducted by Mr Said Abdullazizi to highlight the significance of ethics at workplace. In a very powerful bilingual session Mr Said interacted and explained the students about the role ethics play for a successful career in life.
The program was very well structured keeping in mind the objective of the workshop. The OJT-Business Studies thanked all the team members from KTI Executive Learning Centre for the effort to develop the young graduating students. The team was presented with certificates to felicitate their inordinate contribution.
