Students had participated in and had gained a great deal of CISCO knowledge through the exceptional expertise of the CISCO Networking Academy personalities last 4-March-2014. The students met the CISCO experts in the person of Marc Khayat (Technical Manager, Turkey Middle East and North Africa) and Mr. Walid Issa (CISCO Academy Area Manager, Gulf Region). Dr. Fatma Al-Abri, the Head of IT Department of HCT, had officially opened the succeeding activities of the event.

Informative sessions which had been delivered by both CISCO experts had inspired the students and equipped them with adequate updates. Mr. Mark Khayat elaborated a theme called “Internet of Everything”. He described numerous technologies and how the Internet conquers the present and the future. Mr. Walid Issa also discussed CISCO Collaboration Technology and Data Center & Cloud Computing. Mr. Walid’s technical inclination had captivated the students’ attention regarding the updates on technologies.
