Educational Technology Center spearheaded by Dr. Asmaa Al Marhoubi organized a seminar today, March 18, 2021 entitled, “The Positive Side of Our Data”, with the collaboration of the IT Professionals working in the industry.  The aim of this seminar is to spread the knowledge and awareness about the latest development in Information Technology.

The guest speaker who shared about what a powerful data can be was Dr. Amjed Amer Al Thuhli, Consultant in Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technology.  The topic discussed by Dr. Amjed during the session consists of the following: (1) Oman and World Data; (2) How do they collect our Data; (3) How do they use our data; and (4) Data Analytics Algorithms.

The session was participated by a total of one-hundred fifteen attendees both internal and external guests.  It was very interactive and several questions were asked during the session with was hosted by Ms. Mahfoodha Saleh Al Farqani in coordination with Ms. Azhar Abdullah Mohammed Al Shukh both from ETC.
