Aim: The Department aimed to support Oman vision 2040 through supporting the Oman economy through introducing innovative ways to run industries and Services.

How: The main asset of the department is the students and staff. The Department will support the establishment of innovation ecosystem. This ecosystem will facilitate the injection of Entrepreneurship and Innovation deployment into the UTAS environment.

Innovation ecosystem: The environment will be deployed through activities and competitions. The focus will be to contribute to elevate the implementation of Oman vision 2040. The operations will use tools that enable the department to accelerate the increase into the following indicators:

• Global Innovation Index
• Skills, Global Competitiveness Index
• Global Talent Competitiveness Index
