The specific industries targeted for development are the fish, logistics, and manufacturing sectors. The project seeks to achieve the following objectives

• The project involves gathering and examining data from non-oil industries to assess their preparedness for implementing fourth industrial revolution techniques, which can enhance operational efficiency and boost production. Reports generated from this analysis will aid in forecasting future technical skill requirements for these sectors. Additionally, the project aims to design educational methods in academia to equip students with the necessary skills to succeed in these industries.
• Collaborate on the development of a flexible framework to promote research for development and reduce the gap between the academic and industrial sectors in support of the knowledge-based economy. Additionally, explore various measures to foster the acquisition of skills and enhance competencies in research for development.
