A series of toolbox talks were conducted by the Applied Sciences Department’s risk, health and safety (RHS) committee for its technical staff last 08 December 2019. The activity was designed to engage the staff, discuss and delegate a number of RHS-related tasks in the laboratories. These tasks are aimed at making the laboratories safer to everyone using the facilities.
Toolbox talks is one medium and one of the programs by the HSE committee in the Applied Sciences department that increases RHS awareness and get staff motivated, and actively involved.
The activity was organized through the college RHS committee and facilitated by Mr. Mike Medina, College RHS Officer and APS-RHS Coordinator.
