IT staff first aid responders re-training conducted

A re-training session was conducted on 24th April 2019 from 9:00 A.M to 10 A.M, for the first aid responders of Information Technology Department staff in M316 The activity was done to gauge and improve the needed skills as a first aid responder that will be useful during an emergency situation.

During the re-training the concepts of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillation (AED) and cases observed in the College such as epileptic convulsions and nose bleeds were discussed. Afterwards, there was an individual hands-on practice on CPR with AED for all the attended first aid responders.​ The re-training session was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Mike Medina, the College RHS Officer.
