RHS Orientation for Maintenance Cleaning Staff Conducted

05 March 2019

The College Risk, Health and Safety (CRHS) Committee chaired by Mr. Mazin Al-Saadi, conducted an orientation attended by over forty plus (40+) College maintenance cleaning staff last 26 February 2019. The activity was done to ensure that staff are participating and implementing safety activities, and at the same time have an opportunity to engage and discuss HSE-related issues with the staff’s line of work in particular, and the college in general. The orientation is one medium and one of the programs by the College RHS committee to increase HSE awareness and get staff motivated, and actively involved.

The orientation was conducted in both Hindi and English respectively, through Mr. Rakesh Kumar, the overall supervisor of the maintenance cleaning company (Tanzifco) providing the services in the College, and Mr. Mike Medina, College RHS Officer. This is part of the CRHS committee’s commitment in bringing more awareness regarding risk, health and safety even among external contractors working in the College.
